    a) Building permit design documentation

    Our design documentation for building permits is processed in compliance with valid Slovak legislation.

    b) Basic Design

    In this phase, we prepare automation concept solutions as well as the data necessary for equipment procurement . We work independently from automation technology producers, with focus on the application of valid legislation for specific operational conditions (including hazardous areas with a danger of gas explosions, as well as fumes and dust).

    We execute our own calculations for the design of instrumentation and special measurements (as analytics or sampling systems) by means of using state-of-the-art engineering tools such as CONVAL (for control valves, orifice plates, flow measurements) and exSilentatia (functional safety).

    For design documentation processing, we apply our own standard solutions implemented in the eBase Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tool. We also have experience with the use of other CAE tools, such as RUPLAN, COMOS and ELCAD.

    Design documentation is provided to the customer both in printed and electronic format (standard procedure is to provide the design documentation in electronic format, by way of PDF files stored on a data storage device).

    The method of reverse engineering is applied for the upgrading of control systems and for the migration of old systems, along with import of data, modules and graphic panels to the highest possible extent. Such asolution is offered on the level of :

Industrial Cybersecurity

Design of control systems in line with best practices

Industrial cybersecurity is a key part of designing modern control systems. Our solutions follow best practices and focus on protection against unauthorized access, secure user authentication, encrypted communication, and access rights management.

We also provide activity monitoring, network segmentation, system hardening, and compliance with rules for portable media. The goal is to minimize risks and ensure adherence to applicable legislation throughout the entire system life cycle.

Functional Safety

The demanded safety of plants in process industries is gradually being executed by way of a complex safety instrumented systems (SIS). Our safety engineering certified by TUV can design a SIS in compliance with the EN 61511 standard in the following scope:

  • Participation in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)
  • Preparation of a Safety Requirements Specification (SRS)
  • Engineering and design of SIS according to the applicable standards and regulations (EN/IEC, ATEX, EMC)

MES

ProCS has developed its own solution for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), with entail the following characteristics :

  • A system based on standard application platforms, enhanced with variety of its own functional modules for data capture and processing implemented according to customer specifications
  • An open system, that communicates with process level via standard communication protocols (OPC, Modbus and DLMS)
  • In addition to its standard functions, the system is able to send data and protocols via e-mail communication in order to provide alarm messages for the users
  • The system allows the export of its data into different selected formats (i.e. MS Excel, PDF, etc.)
